Equipped with a Master's degree in Applied Genetics, Savitha has tried on a number of job roles. From customer service and IT solutions to education research and teaching, she has also worked in molecular biology and toxicology research labs. In her last 'real job', she was found donning the cap of the Content Editor for Digital Communications at the Indian Academy Of Sciences. Presently, she is a freelancer, working as a writer and editor and designer/illustrator, all in Science.
