Having completed my MSc in Wildlife and Management from Kuvempu University, Shimoga, I set off to the north of India to volunteer on a behavioural study of the Central Himalayan langurs which only further rooted my love for animal behaviour and primates. An avid reader and collector of books, I can find a book store nearly anywhere I go - even before I find a restaurant. Which says a lot about me. I will try anything at least once; except bungee jumping - that's just crazy. I have always believed that research should be made more available to the general public and am eager to contribute to this purpose as a writer for Research Matters!
